Fashion Preview #7 – Markantoine Fall-Winter 2018 Runway Show

It was a sold-out last evening of Fashion Preview #7, with cohorts of fans gathering to see the not-to-miss closing runway show of this FP season: the presentation of the Fall-Winter 2017-2018 collection by MARKANTOINE. Whether his gothic-exotic style is for you or not, one thing is for sure, the designs definitely stood out: splashes of orange and neon green, glitter fabrics and smudged out makeups paraded down the runway under a Deep South Motel theme and an overall gothic aesthetic. The visual impact of MARKANTOINE’s new looks – vibrant and dark at the same time, creative, yet very cool and wearable, all the buzz, and the packed room, brought a great finale to this seventh edition of Fashion Preview.

MarkAntoine Lynch Boisvert, the creative mind behind the MARKANTOINE label, is a promising Quebecois designer with a vision of international appeal. It’s only been two years since MarkAntoine graduated from UQAM and yet his designs already brought him international attention. Aside from his Management and Fashion Design university degree, he acquired a lot of experience in the fashion scene over the years, including an internship in Paris where he became the assistant of Aline Ochoa for a season. The MARKANTOINE brand was launched in 2015 and is part of an underground movement of young Montreal designers who tries to break the geographical barriers with their creativity.

We invite you to admire the new collection by MARKANTOINE in the above images.
